Questions From Cailin:

1. Who is your favourite author and why?

I can’t say definitely who my fave author is because I love so many… but if I had to go with a few I would say Sarah J Maas, Marissa Meyer, Marie Lu and so many others I really can’t choose!!!! I love their writing and the worlds that they all create! Just everything.

2. What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas….. by far. The whole of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

That or Obsidio (The Illuminae Files)

3. What’s your favourite word?

At the moment: Iridescent, seeing luminous colours that look like they are changing when you look at it from different angles.

I have loads of fave words…. it changes all the time.

4. If you could bring one book on a desert island with you, what would it be?

This is one of those questions where you think really hard, and then freak yourself out because ONE BOOK?!?!?!?!!?

Can I take a series?? If I could then I’d either take the Lunar Chronicles or the Throne of Glass series.

If I can’t ….. Collection of Jane Austen stories, the bound one. That’s one big book it would last me a while. I’d get round to reading classics at least right??

5. Top three favourite character names?

I’ve always like Mather from Snow Like Ashes (both the name and the character, he’s such a bean)

Aedion is a cool one as well, from the Throne of Glass series. The second I saw his name I was like HIM HE’S THE GOOD BEAN!! HE MUST BE!! and he was….

BUT DOOOOOOORIAN!!!! There are too many good ones!!

Literally anyone from the ACOTAR series…… I mean Rhysand, Cassian, Azriel, Armen….. Sarah J Maas is so good at naming characters…. It’s very suspicious…. must be black magic?

6. Favourite Genre?

FAAAAAAAANNTAAAAAASYYYYYYYYYYYY!

7. Last book you bought?

I mean I bought in bulk but they came separately sooooo, the last one to get to me was Ash Princess.

8. Most anticipated read this year?

KINGDOM OF ASH!!! GIIIMMEEEEEE!!

9. One book you recommend to everyone?

Cinder by Marissa Meyer… this book so easily shot to the top of my favourites list sooooo, I scream about it sometimes.

10. Book you’ve been meaning to read but haven’t got to yet?

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo and Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I want to read them so badly but I just haven’t picked them up and I am so sad about it…

11. Least favourite book of the year so far?

I mean I have liked everything I have read this year but if I had to pick one I liked less than others, Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas. I think I gave it a 3.5 out of 5 stars?? I still really liked it. It was interesting and full of science and stuff. But compared to Illuminae, ACOTAR and Angelfall (AKA, my new fave sets of series) it wasn’t my fave.

But it was still good. (I don’t want people to think I’m being salty because I did like it and choosing it for this question feels like a betrayal T . T )
