Webtoon Series That Have My Heart This Valentines

Ah, the day of love is approaching! And what better time to screech about the things we love! Am I right folks?!?!

I can’t think of anything better than spending Valentines with my true loves!

BOOKS! STORIES! AND WAY TOO MUCH CHOCOLATE!! _{Is there such a thing as too much though??}

Today I thought I would share one of my favourite story devouring hobbies!

Webtoons!

I have been loving manga and manhwa’s these last few years, and to be extra specific I’ve been LOVING the isekai genre! Which is a readers perfect plot! Of course I want to read about main characters that have been sucked into a novel and have to try and survive the plot! And Webtoon is a treasure trove of these. I’m sitting at a table in the all you can eat buffet style restaurant and I’m making no moves towards the exit!

My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me by Han Yoonseol and Seungu

I’ve talked about this one on my blog before!!! AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN!!!!! Genuinely one of my favourites, I’ve already reread it 4 times and I’m about to go for number 5!

Not only would I go to battle for this family, I would represent them in court! If you are looking for a story line with gorgeous art, a focus on family and the perfect balance of political intrigue and romance… then look no further!

For My Derelict Favourite by Kimyoung, Ryuho and Kim Seonyu

The art style was what drew me in initially but I LOVED this one! The Main Character is Hestia, who was transmigrated into her favourite book as an extra and she wants to do everything in her power to save her fave character from his tragic fate, all while fangirling over him from up close!

The over arching plot of this book was revenge and it was all so cleverly schemed by our MC!

Morgana and Oz by Miyuli

I found this one an age ago when I still had twitter, and some art of Morgana and Oz came up on my feed! A thing of beauty in that cesspit! I knew I had to read it!

And I am so glad I did! Such a cosy and gripping story, it checks every box in my cottage core witchy dreams!

Reporting For Duty, Duchess! by Bitterber

I won’t lie. I binge read this one. It consumed me for a night… and maybe it was day time when I finally slumbered… DON’T WORRY ABOUT THAT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!

LOVED IT! The MC was a military captain and she wakes up as a character in her friends book and navigates the plot using her skills and knowledge from her military career. This was one of those refreshing reads that I can see myself rereading on the regular!

From A Knight to a Lady by Hyerim Sung, Ink.

This one I was surprised by, I was drawn in mainly by the beautiful art style but the story kept me there. Unlike most I-woke-up-in-another-body stories this one stands out, the main character is Estelle, who is a knight who is betrayed at the end of a long war. She then wakes up as Lucifela, who is a noble lady and basically has to navigate a life she knows nothing about and learn to grapple with the outcome of the war after her death.

The gripping plot aside, I LOVED the characters in the one. Every single one had such a strong on page presence that it was hard not to root for all of them!

First Night With The Duke by Hwang DoTol, MSG and Teava

This was one of the first things I ever read on Webtoon and what a stunner to start with!

Not only is the art style so soft and whimsical but the main characters are the perfect amount of witty and funny. All round this was such a fun read, and the made a Korean adaptation of this one too! Which I haven’t watched yet but am so excited too!

Ten Ways to Get Dumped by a Tyrant by Seo Gwijo

As the title suggests, Scarlett, our mc, spends the first section of this story trying to get the king to annul their engagement by convincing him that she’s crazy, but this backfires completely and only endears him to her more.

This one had a very interesting magic system and folklore about it, which I’ll admit at time it felt a bit like you were being info dumped on a bit BUT it was still fascinating!

I will say though the ending did feel very rushed. It was a nice ending! But was over very quickly.
