We all love reading from the POV’s of the protagonist! To be front and centre for all the action! We live vicariously through them! We laugh with them! We cry with them! We feel angry with them! We feel betrayed with them! We feel…

There are many different types of readers, but I am a very character driven reader!

Not in the sense that I’d stop reading a book just because I didn’t vibe with a character, but in the sense that I usually start LOVE loving a book when I relate to or admire a character!

And I feel this a lot with Main Characters… but the secondary characters always seem to capture my attention! AND HOLD IT!!

And so today, we’re holding a supporting character awards ceremony!!! These are in no particular order! I’m not playing favourite today!! THEY’RE ALL WINNERS!!!

So grab yourself some cake! And be ready to PARTYYYYY!!

Now here is an AI that wouldn’t steal all of your hard work! (A.I.D.A.N did technically steal someone’s identity once… but THAT DOESN’T COUNT!! DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!)

A.I.D.A.N. is sassy and snappy and knows more than you but wants to know EVEN more and so might end up spying on you and committing some crimes.

BUT WE CAN’T BLAME THEM! THEY GOT SMACKED UP THE HEAD IN THE FIRST 50 PAGES!!!

I LOVED A.I.D.A.N. all of their chapters had me hooked! I binged this book in one day and every time I tried to be responsible and put it down for the night I would see that next chapter is A.I.D.A.N’s… bye bye responsible decisions… went to work absolutely shattered.

Captain Thorne

CAPTAIN THORNEEEE!!!!!!!

Here is my favourite Captain / pilot / thief / criminal / deserter! Trust me here! He has many lovable traits!

You’re going to sense a theme! I love sassy characters!

Throne specifically was so witty, every time he was on page I was having a good time snorting to myself in my room!

The Gang

THE GANG! THE CREW! THE DREAM TEAM OF CHAOS!

The Roach, The Ghost and The Bomb! They were beloved the moment they were mentioned to be honest! A motley crew lurking around in the shadows who appear and disappear helping out and maybe doing some dammaaaageeeeee when needed!

The BOISS! & The LADIIESSS

I loved reading about the gang (Blue, Gansey, Ronan, Adam and Noah) on their quest and all the shenanigans they got up to! Gave me FOMO though… I was trying my best to get inside this book guys.

I want to befriend a sentient forest toooooooo!

BUT EQUALLY!

I LOVED! LOVED! LOVED!

All the scenes in the main character Blue’s house were EXACTLY my cup of tea.

A house full of clairvoyant ladies?? That know everything?? And are sassy??

I might be due a reread of The Raven Cycle tbh…
