My Life in Books

This tag was (to my knowledge) created by Hannah over at One World Too Many Pages.

Basically the tag is a list of questions based around you (or in this case MEeeeeee), but it’s book related… questions about you that you answer with books…..yeah.

That’s what it is…. I made it confuzzling

oh my god what GIF

I’m going to challenge myself to only use YA books…..see how far I can go…. this could be a bad idea….. no it’s not I AM A GENIUS!!!! HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

1) Find books for each letter of your name:

Legend by Marie Lu, Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff, Nemesis by Brendan Reichs.

Legend (LEGEND Trilogy Book 1) by [Lu, Marie]Illuminae by [Kristoff, Jay, Kaufman, Amie]Nemesis (Project Nemesis Book 1) by [Reichs, Brendan]

2) Count your age along your bookshelf, what book is it?

Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch

Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes) by [Raasch, Sara]

3) Pick a book set in your city/country:

Best I could find was: Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children Book 1) by [Riggs, Ransom]

4) Pick a book that is your favourite colour/ has your favourite colour in the title:

THE BLUE!!!!!!!

(Also, the sequel is orange!!! And it’s just as vibrant!!!!)

5) Pick a book set in a place you want to go:

I’m going to assume this means fictional…there’s not many places I want to go. I just want to stay at home.

I would say Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world, but we all want to go there. SOooooo, I’m going to have to go with the world in the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. SPACESHIPS!!!!!!

6) What books do you have fond memories of?

This isn’t YA related but…..Any book by Roald Dahl. Specifically, the BFG. I read it so many times and I loved it so much. Even if I wasn’t reading it, it would be on my bedside table. Because I was attached….

7) What book did you have the most difficulty reading?

I can’t really recall any books that I struggled with. I usually struggle with books because of other issues in life, not because of the book itself.

Perhaps my taste in books is just toooooooooo good!

YA Fantasy has never done me wrong!

8) What book in your TBR will give you the biggest feeling of accomplishment when read?

Technically this is not YA, but it’s Fantasy… I consider it among one of the many tasks that I enjoy yet procrastinate.

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. If I can start and get through this book and it’s sequel(s)… I would probably have enough power to run with demons and conquer the world….

Small steps folks, small steps.

What was your favourite book when you were younger? Do you relate with some of my choices? Which ones are different?
